Peak opened an office in Kenai, Alaska in 1991 offering construction and maintenance services to the Kenai / Cook Inlet petrochemical industry. This commitment to the petrochemical industry and the local community has continued to increase since 1991 beginning with the acquisition of a local oilfield trucking company to add to our services offered in the Kenai / Cook Inlet areas and the acquisition of additional property in Nikiski.

This 6.5 acre site has ample yard space and is conveniently located within two miles of the Nikiski Dock which services Cook Inlet's offshore platforms and facilities on the west side of Cook Inlet and is also well situated to service the oil and gas fields located on the east side of Cook Inlet. The expansion to our new facility was primarily for the purpose of offering enhanced fabrication services to our clients. Our fabrication shop is equipped with tools and equipment necessary to successfully offer top of the line fabrication services for our clients. The main shop is 4,800 square feet (60' wide x 80 ' long x 27' high) and has wire feed welding machines, plasma cutter, stick welding machines (electric and diesel) and a 5-ton overhead bridge crane. We have a 2,400 square feet shop used primarily for spool fabrication.

Additionally, we have an equipment maintenance shop and 5,300 square feet of covered storage space. We remodeled and increased the office space to approximately 1,720 square feet (plus a conference room and storage) to better accommodate our administrative staff. Our computer system allows us to tailor our cost tracking, invoicing and job specific information to the individual needs of the various clients.
